POLICIES & WAIVERS

Important information before you train.

B2 Defense Training is committed to providing a safe, professional, and positive training environment. Please review the policies below before registering for or attending a class, private lesson, workshop, or range event.

Course-, event-, or location-specific policies may apply. When specific terms are included with a class or booking, those terms take precedence over the general policies below.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Scheduled Classes & Workshops

If you cancel or request to reschedule 10 days or more before the scheduled class, you may choose to:

  • Transfer your tuition or deposit to another available B2 Defense Training class within the next 12 months, or

  • Receive a refund to the original form of payment, minus any applicable non-refundable deposits, third-party range or facility fees, and service or processing fees.

Once a training credit has been issued, it is non-refundable.

If you cancel or request to reschedule less than 10 days before the class, tuition, deposits, and applicable fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class unless otherwise approved by B2 Defense Training.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or rescheduling.

Private Lessons

Private lessons require a non-refundable deposit to reserve the appointment.

Private lessons may be rescheduled without additional penalty with at least 48 hours’ notice. The deposit will be applied to the rescheduled lesson.

If a private lesson is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit and require a new deposit to book another lesson.

No-shows forfeit the deposit and any other prepaid amounts and are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.

Private Groups & Private Range Events

Private groups and range events may require a deposit to reserve instructors, Range Safety Officers, range space, or other resources.

Unless otherwise stated in the booking terms, deposits for private groups and private range events are non-refundable.

Cancellation and rescheduling deadlines will be provided when the event is booked. Event-specific terms take precedence over the general policy.

WEATHER, RANGE CONDITIONS & FACILITY CHANGES

Many outdoor classes and range events will continue in rain or changing weather conditions when

B2 Defense Training determines that training can be conducted safely.

Do not assume your class or event is cancelled because of weather unless you receive notification from B2 Defense Training.

Weather, range conditions, facility availability, or other circumstances outside our control may require a class or event to be delayed, modified, relocated, rescheduled, or cancelled.

If B2 Defense Training or the host facility determines that training cannot safely or reasonably continue, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.

If the class or event is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, you may choose:

  • A credit toward future B2 Defense Training, or

  • A refund of eligible B2 Defense Training tuition or deposits.

Third-party range, facility, service, or processing fees are refundable only to the extent those fees are returned to B2 Defense Training.

B2 DEFENSE TRAINING CANCELLATIONS

If B2 Defense Training cancels a class or event, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.

Students may choose:

  • To transfer to another available class or rescheduled date,

  • A credit toward future B2 Defense Training within the next 12 months, or

  • A refund of eligible B2 Defense Training tuition or deposits.

Third-party range, facility, service, or processing fees are refundable only to the extent those fees are returned to B2 Defense Training.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT

Some scheduled classes require a minimum number of participants.

If minimum enrollment is not met, B2 Defense Training may reschedule or cancel the class.

Registered students will be offered the option to:

  • Transfer to the new date,

  • Apply their payment toward another eligible B2 Defense Training class, or

  • Receive a refund of eligible tuition or deposits.

PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & REFUNDS

Payment requirements vary depending on the class, training format, location, and event.

Some bookings may require:

  • Full payment in advance

  • A deposit

  • Separate range or facility fees

  • Service or processing fees

Payment requirements will be provided with the registration or booking information.

All refunds are subject to the cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and course-specific policies applicable to the booking.

Course- or event-specific refund terms, when provided, take precedence over this general policy.

SAFETY & CONDUCT

The safety of our students, instructors, Range Safety Officers, and other range users is our top priority.

Participants must follow:

  • Fundamental firearm safety rules

  • Instructor and Range Safety Officer directions

  • Range commands

  • B2 Defense Training policies

  • Host range or facility rules

  • Class-specific safety procedures

Safety procedures will be reviewed before training begins.

B2 Defense Training reserves the right to stop a participant’s involvement or remove a participant from a class or event for unsafe firearm handling, failure to follow instructions, disruptive behavior, or violation of safety rules or procedures.

Removal decisions are made at the discretion of the lead instructor.

Participants removed for safety or conduct violations are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.

IMPAIRMENT

Participants may not handle firearms or participate in live-fire training while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, cannabis, or any medication or substance that may interfere with judgment, coordination, alertness, or the ability to safely participate.

If an instructor or Range Safety Officer believes a participant cannot safely participate, that person may be removed from training.

FIREARMS & EQUIPMENT

Firearms and equipment used during training must be safe, functional, and appropriate for the class.

Specific firearm, ammunition, holster, belt, magazine, or equipment requirements will be provided with the individual class information.

If you are unsure whether your firearm or equipment is appropriate, contact us before purchasing equipment specifically for a class or arriving for training.

WAIVERS & HOST FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

Participants may be required to complete B2 Defense Training waivers, host-range waivers, or other participation forms before training begins.

Training held at a third-party range or facility is also subject to that location’s rules, policies, age requirements, ammunition restrictions, and other requirements.

Failure to complete required waivers or comply with host-facility requirements may prevent participation.
